"We have art in order not to die of the truth"
~ Friedrich Nietzsche
For me, being an artist represents exploring any and all creative impulses.
I am often drawn to subjects that lack a voice - or suffer injustice.
My work is characterized by expression and emotion. I studied at the
Art Students League of New York but found more success in furthering
my studies independently, by experimenting with different methods and
techniques. There are many artists in my family going back several generations.
I've participated in exhibitions in Florida, Georgia, California, Washington
and New York. My paintings and sculptures are represented in collections in
the United States, Canada, Greece, France, Iceland, Australia, Italy, Japan,
Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil and the UK.
